Alzheimer’s Art Quilt Initiative

I am now the proud owner of an AAQI quilt by Debbie Bein, purchased at International Quilt Festival last week.

The Alzheimer’s Art Quilt Initiative is a nonprofit run by Ami Simms for the benefit of Alzheimer’s research.  Check out their blog  for up to date information.  I believe I heard $48,000+ has been raised this year with these quilts.

You can put together a pair of earrings (of your choice) or join in the monthly auction that ends today.
