Lone Star Quilts III – Texas quilts of last 25 years

Coastline-web “Coastline”
70” x 43”

I received word this week that my quilt “Coastline” will be included in the book Lone Stars-Texas Quilts Today about the last 25 years of Texas Quilts.  The book, which will contain 200 quilts,  will be released in the Fall of 2011 in conjunction with International Quilt Festival in Houston and the Texas 175th birthday of Texas as a Republic.  Most of the quilts will be on exhibit at the 2011 Houston Show.

Congratulations to all my friends who are also included in the book .

This quilt was in the 2004 IQA “World of Beauty” Show.  It is now in a Private Collection.

Congratulations! I really like the beautiful colors in the chosen quilt.

I have my first ever quilt in the 2d book published for the Texas Sesquicentenial celebration, but didn't know there was another in the works for the next 25 years.
