Alex Anderson and Ricky Tims have been featuring quilts with “moon” in their names on The Daily Blog. Bamboo Moon, one of my quilts from about 2000, will be the quilt of the day on Tuesday, August 10.
It was the first quilt I ever entered in a juried show. I was very surprised when it was selected into the IQA Show in Houston.

Congratulations, Mary Ann! I'm always bragging about you. My friend and I are starting to do more quilting--talking and dreaming a lot about it anyway. Good job!
Aack! There's no way to leave a Comment on The Quilt Show website. I just wanted to say that I remember this quilt very well, and was so impressed that I knew someone who had gotten into the IQA show! Wow!
